Porsche is pulling out all the stops to celebrate its 60 years in the U.S. Last week, the automaker announced its search for the oldest Porsches in the nation. Now, the company is looking for stories from current and past owners of the cars of Zuffenhausen.
The “My Porsche Passion Contest” was launched Tuesday and will continue until November 1. Porsche fans are invited to write and upload to the contest website a story of 500 words or less that has to do with their passion for a specific Porsche, an experience, or the company. After Porschethe contest closes to entries, a panel of Porsche judges will choose 20 finalists, which will be put to a vote online. The authors of the three stories with the most votes will win an all expenses-paid trip to the Porsche Sport Driving School in Birmingham, Alabama.

Entries can be related to any and all generations of Porsche. “Provenance and passion are intertwined in every vintage Porsche, but passion is not just an emotion limited to classic or collector car owners,” the automaker says. “Fans of recent vintages, from Boxsters and Caymans to the current-generation 911 and the all-new Panamera, are just as devoted to their cars as classic owners.  And, there are equally inspiring stories of undying Porsche passion from past owners who yearn to reconnect with a long-sold car, or future loyalists who put Porsche ownership at the top of their wish list.”
