His music is fun and spontaneous.
The Whoopee Cats:
The Whoopee Cats is a powerful female duo based out of Tacoma, WA, playing a unique blend of soulful blues and folk music.
Lead singer, Laurel Lundgren’s voice is kinda like Norah Jones with claws and fangs, and guitarist Jill Nelson delivers backing vocals along with the type of acoustic and electric skills that make you wish the set was longer. The Whoopee Cats play a variety of cover songs, but it’s the memorable lyrics and melodies of their original music that is quickly building a loyal fan base.
"Our power is in our music, not in our speakers," " Laurel Lundgren, lead vocalist for the Whoopee Cats.
