I am proud to lend my support to exciting opportunities LeMay — America’s Car Museum will provide our region. Harold and Nancy’s unique collection will go a long way to continuing Tacoma’s renaissance while enhancing Tacoma and Pierce County’s wealth of activities and destination places.

 

I read with great interest the Economic Impact Statement for LeMay — America’s Car Museum. With the creation of 835 full-time equivalent construction jobs, an expected annual income exceeding $34,000,000, and 500,000 annual visitors, the museum is the right investment at the right time for our region.

 

The impact of the museum extends well beyond economics. The collection and its state-of-the-art facility commemorating Harold and Nancy’s dedication to the community will prove an extraordinary and memorable experience for museum-goers of all ages.
