AAA Washington pledges $1.6 million to LeMay - AMERICA'S CAR MUSEUM

(Tacoma, WA) - LeMay – America’s Car Museum® is proud to announce that AAA Washington has pledged $1.6 million for the Museum’s proposed building to be located adjacently to the Tacoma Dome. The Museum plans to open the new facility to the public by 2011.AAA Washington has been a Museum sponsor since its inception and this donation is the largest corporate commitment the Museum has received to date.
LeMay Museum Board Member and President & CEO of AAA Washington, Charles Liekweg expressed his enthusiasm about the project. “The LeMayMuseum and automobile collection is quite remarkable.The opportunity for AAA Washington to work with the Museum in celebrating and exhibiting its own hundred and four year history in the state is truly an exciting one.”
