(Tacoma, WA) - LeMay – America’s Car Museum® is pleased to announce a five year agreement with Bonhams & Butterfields to create the first annual Bonhams & Butterfields sale to be held in conjunction with the 2009 Kirkland Concours d’Elegance. This will be the area’s first major predominantly “no reserve” auction, planned at the newly-renovated Hotel Murano in downtown Tacoma and will feature primarily “never-before offered” cars from the famous LeMay Collection.
In addition, LeMay – America’s Car Museum received a five-year sponsorship pledge from Bonhams & Butterfields of $100,000 including cash and in-kind donations of auction services. This sponsorship puts Bonhams & Butterfields into the Concours club sponsorship group. Along with this sponsorship, Bonhams & Butterfields will also become the “Official Car Collector Auctioneer” of America’s Car Museum.
