LeMay Names New Board Directors as National Momentum Grows

(Tacoma, WA) – LeMay - America’s Car Museum continues to build momentum as the Museum recently appointed two new directors to the board at the board meeting held on September 11, 2009.Moray Callum, Executive Director of Ford America Design and Richard Davis, President and CEO of Standard Parts Corporation were both named to the LeMayMuseum board of directors during the meeting.
President and CEO of LeMay - America’s Car Museum expressed his enthusiasm about the growth of the board.“The recent appointment of Callum and Davis to our board shows our growth as a Museum and proves the continued momentum the Museum has maintained through the recession and the fact that we have prevailed through it all.We are honored to have them both on the board as we continue the drive for America’s Car Museum,” said Madeira.
Moray Callum manages responsibility for the design of all cars and trucks designed in Ford’s North and South America studios in addition to guiding the design of Lincoln and Mercury products.He was appointed to his current position at Ford May 1, 2009 after being responsible for implementing the design strategy and execution involving all Ford, Lincoln and Mercury cars and car-based crossovers since 2006. Born in 1958, Callum graduated from NapierUniversity in Edinburgh with a Bachelors degree in industrial design.He also holds a masters degree in transportation design from the Royal College of Art in London.
Richard Davis is currently the President and CEO of Standard Parts Corporation in Tacoma, Washington.Prior to his current standing at Standard Parts, he was the Vice President of Operations at the Education Management Corporation in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.He’s currently the President of the Tacoma Country and Golf Club and the Seniors Northwest Golf Association. He holds a bachelors of science in Business Administration from OhioStateUniversity and an MBA in Finance and Quantitative Analysis from IndianaUniversity.
