America’s Car Museum & LeMay Family to host the 33rd Annual LeMay Car Show & Auction

(Tacoma, WA) – LeMay – AMERICA’S CAR MUSEUM® has partnered with the LeMay Family to host the 33rd Annual LeMay Car Show & Auction at Marymount Academy and the LeMay home grounds in Tacoma, Washington on Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 9:00am-5:00pm. Visitors will see over 1,000 different vintage, specialty automobiles, trucks and motorcycles from the LeMay Collection, plus hundreds of local collector cars and other unique vehicles. In addition to the cars, there will be numerous automobile-related vendor displays, the Collector Car Showcase – a judged car show, food vendors and a collector car auction hosted by Mathers Inc. Auctioneers.
LeMay Museum members receive free admission when a valid membership card is presented. Non-member entry donations are only $10 for adults, $5 for children aged 6 to 12 and free admission for active-duty military and young children aged 5 and under. Entrance admission for collector cars into the Collector Car Showcase is $25 which includes admission for one person and remains open to the first 120 cars that enter. Car clubs and collectors are also invited to display their automobiles in the non-judged display at Marymount. The gates open at 8:00am for collector cars, and the event is open to the public from 9:00am-5:00pm. Free General Parking will be available offsite with free shuttle bus transportation between the parking lots, Marymount Academy and the LeMay grounds.
