TACOMA, Wash. (Jan. 9, 2013) – Ever wanted to experience award-winning artists blowing glass and rare automobiles that’ll blow you away? Well, this one’s for you.

LeMay – America’s Car Museum (ACM) and Museum of Glass (MOG) today announced a partnership to offer a “Chrome and Glass Pass” to the public Jan. 16 through March 31. The $20 pass includes admission to both museums located in downtown Tacoma’s “Museum District.”

“As a community-focused organization, we’ve made it a priority to establish relationships with Tacoma’s local businesses and attractions,” said David Madeira, president and CEO of ACM, which houses more than 300 cars, trucks and motorcycles. “Our partnership with MOG is the next evolution of this commitment, which affords people the opportunity to experience the beautiful artwork, designs and exhibits that both museums have to offer.”

Madeira said this isn’t the first time the museums have worked together. Last June, MOG artists created nine hand-blown glass hood ornaments to commemorate the grand opening of ACM.

“The Museum of Glass has been creating a dynamic learning environment to cultivate an appreciation and understanding of the arts for more than a decade,” said Susan Warner, MOG executive director. “We hope that by partnering with America’s Car Museum, we can expose new audiences to the world of glass and automotive art.”

Chrome and Glass Passes will be sold Jan. 16 – March 31 onsite at ACM and MOG; tickets must be redeemed by March 31. For more info, visit or
