LeMay - AMERICA'S CAR MUSEUM completed its "Drive for America’s Car Museum" campaign in December 2009 acquiring the Dome property and securing the financing to build the new Museum facilities in Tacoma. Upon groundbreaking, the Museum launched a 2 year “Race To The Finish” campaign designed to raise operating support as the new Museum prepares to open the in 18 months. Funds raised will support collection preparation, exhibit development, educational programming, student internships, library acquisitions and archive development.
The $9,500,000 Race to the Finish campaign will sustain the Museum while it undertakes these important tasks and builds the staff and infrastructure to open as a fully operating museum. There are many opportunities to give to the campaign and to be recognized in the new facility which will be the largest private car museum in the world. These include the purchase of pavers, membership in Club Auto and many other opportunities.
Ways to Give
As a U.S. Treasury approved 501(c)(3) charitable organization, LeMay - AMERICA'S CAR MUSEUM is qualified to accept tax deductible gifts. Planning one’s gifts enables a donor to arrange charitable contributions in ways that maximize personal objectives in a tax effective manner.
Gifts to the “Race to the Finish" campaign may be made in a number of ways including membership, Adopt-an-Auto, outright gifts, vehicle donations, purchasing a paver, gifts in partnership, and estate gifts.
