Adopt-an-Auto Program
When you adopt a Museum collection vehicle, you not only forge a personal connection with AMERICA’S CAR MUSEUM, you help us with our mission to preserve these wonderful cars for the enjoyment of generations to come.
Start by choosing the vehicle you want to adopt from our list of eligible cars. It might be a car you used to own—or always wished you owned. It could be something that just strikes your fancy. Whatever, the choice is up to you.
When you’re ready, just download the Adopt-an-Auto forms (at right) or give us a call at 877.902.8490 or email adopt@lemaymuseum.org.
Once your adoption papers are signed, you’ll receive a beautiful leather portfolio containing vehicle photos, information and history and a commemorative plaque. We’ll even give you a "photo op" with your car so you can proudly display it on the mantle next to pictures of Fluffy and the kids.

Preservation Level - $4,800

- This level will require a tax-deductible donation of $4,800
- Price includes a one-year Museum membership at the “Club Auto” level …a $1,200 value!
- Payment may be made in 24 equal installments of $200 or more per month on auto-payment, or can be made in full at adoption
- Adoption period lasts for five years
- These cars are available for photo opportunities at the new Museum Campus
- Each adopter will receive a engraved cloisonné badge, car history and photo in a custom portfolio
- A cloisonné will also be permanently attached to the car with adopters name
- A list of vehicles available at this level will be provided on our website and in person in the Museum, or a Club Auto location
Road Tour Level - $10,000

- This level requires a tax-deductible donation of $10,000
- Price includes a two-year Museum membership at the “Club Auto” level …a $2,400 value!
- Payment can be made in two installments of 50% at initiation and 50% within 3 months, or can be made in full at adoption
- Adoption lasts for two years, or until the event is completed, whichever occurs first
- These cars are available for two-day or shorter tours such as the Kirkland Concours “Tour d’ Elegance”, of the Pebble Beach Tour d'Elegance.
- Each adopter will receive a engraved cloisonné badge, car history and photo in a custom portfolio
- A cloisonné will also be permanently attached to the car with adopters name
- A list of vehicles available at this level will be provided on our website and in person in the Museum, or a Club Auto location
- Cost of tour entry is not included and is not a tax-deductible donation
Show Tour Level - $20,000

- This premium level requires a tax-deductible donation of $20,000
- Price includes a Museum membership at the “Club Auto Founder” level …a $10,000 value!
- Payment can be made in two installments of 50% at initiation and 50% within 6 months, or can be made in full at adoption
- Adoption lasts for two years, or until the event is completed, whichever occurs first
- This exclusive group of cars are available for longer multi-day tours such as the Pebble Beach Motoring Classic and the Colorado Grand
- Each adopter will receive a engraved cloisonné badge, car history and photo in a custom portfolio
- A cloisonné will also be permanently attached to the car with adopters name
- A list of vehicles available at this level will be provided on our website and in person in the Museum, or a Club Auto location
- Cost of tour entry is not included and is not a tax-deductible donation
- Custom packages and “all inclusive” pricing is available at this level
