On Saturday, October 10, a group of around twenty members and guests met up for a couple of hours of competition and camaraderie at the new state-of-the-art karting facility, Pacific Grand Prix at Pacific Raceways! 

The group buckled into their high performance Italian-built Birel N35 karts and started out through three lap practices and two heat races.  After loading up on lunch, they launched into the pre-final and final races. Winning trophies went to the day's superstar, 19-year-old Matt Russe at 09:09.758, followed by Seth Varty in second place at 09:14.329 and Jeff McKay placing third at 09:26.312.
