Spark creative learning at America’s Car Museum with inquiry-based tours and hands-on workshops!
Qualification requirements for discounted school group rates:
- Group includes 10 or more youth/students.
- Group was booked in advance by an educational organization serving youth and/or students.
- Group includes one chaperone per 10 students to assist with supervision.
- Group pays in one transaction upon arrival.
STEP ONE: CHOOSE YOUR VISIT TYPE

Additional $3 per student
Combine science and art concepts with a custom-designed keepsake. Workshops can accommodate one class of approximately 24 students every hour.
Activity options include:
- Custom-designed Toy Car
- Digital Car Design
- Balloon-powered Car
- Pinewood Derby Car
Speed Zone Experience
Additional $2 per student
Students may enjoy a test run on either the racing simulator (2 minutes) or the slot car track (7 minutes). Participants must be at least 4 feet 3 inches to drive the racing simulator. The Speed Zone can accommodate one class of approximately 24 students every hour.
Additional $5 per student
Pre-order souvenir kits to pick up in the ACM store on the day of your visit.
STEP THREE: MAKE YOUR RESERVATION
Education group visits may be scheduled for Monday-Friday, between 10am and 5pm. Self-guided groups may request weekend hours. A minimum of 2 hours is recommended to fully enjoy the Museum’s galleries and interactive opportunities.

Curriculum Guides – include pre-and post-visit lesson plans which address Washington K-12 Learning Standards and Common Core State Standards.
