When the 1963 Corvette was introduced in late 1962 it featured an all-new body style derived from a race car built by GM styling guru, Bill Mitchell. The new styling was a big hit - its angular body with a minimum of brightwork and a distinctive split rear window on the coupe version. 1963 was the only year with the split window.
The LeMay Collection's 1963 "Split-Window" is "Daytona Blue" in color, and is powered by the 300 hp, L75 version of Chevrolet's venerable 327 small block engine.
This vehicle was used for an on-track event with NASCAR driver, Jeff Jefferson, and prominently features the LeMay-America's Car Museum's logo.
