First conceived in 1958, this was first six-cylinder produced by the Pontiac Division since 1954 and was inspired by John DeLorean.
This 250 cid ohc six-cylinder engine with rare optional four barrel carburetor develops 215 hp.
The $116 "Sprint package" included a three-speed manual transmission with floor shift, OHC-6 Sprint emblems, body sill moldings, F70x14 tires, 10:5:1 compression 250 cid engine and Rochester 4-barrel.
The 4-speed transmission seen in this example was a $226 option.
